    Sorry, I miscategorized the bug, as this was not really a "will ftbfs in trixie"
    but "tries to access Internet during build" instead.

    Such category of bugs was already considered RC by itself since a long time.

    It tries, but properly handles the case where Internet is not available
    by ignoring the failure: is that really RC?

    Yes. Note that Policy (which is also enforced by Release Managers)
    says should not *attempt*. The idea is that packages must never "call home" during build, so that nobody in the outside world should ever know that
    you are building the package in your computer at that moment.
