We're expecting a new upstream shim release soon; when that's uploaded

Given this was written in January, and it's now April, and we're two
days away from the soft freeze: does anyone know when "soon" will
    be?

    Sorry, should have updated here.

We've *had* the new upstream release, but there's a new bug that's
being worked on (upstream) which we really should not release
    with - see https://github.com/rhboot/shim/issues/741 .
