• Bug#1105737: python3-entrypoints: keep obsolete library out of Trixie

    From =?utf-8?Q?=C3=89tienne?= Mollier@21:1/5 to All on Sun May 18 22:00:01 2025
    Greetings,

    Alexandre Detiste, on 2025-05-14:
    The only reverse-dependency left is "intake" which won't be included in Trixie.

    After "intake" is fixed, this can be removed.

    The package "intake" has become gradually more difficult to
    maintain. Going further with newer "intake" upstream versions
    requires inclusion of packages that require heavy lifting. If
    this is a blocker for other package operations, perhaps "intake"
    needs to be removed until we're able again to maintain it in
    good conditions.

    Thanks for watching the good health of our Python ecosystem!

    Have a nice day, :)

    I tried to remove it, but I failed. I +1 to remove it from Trixie.
