    I’m lowering the severity since the issue is not widely reported and must be due to some specific setup.

    As soon as I open YouTube on Chromium, plasma-browser-integration pins the CPU
    at 100%, and stays there until it's forcibly killed even if I shutdown Chromium.

    There’s an upstream bug that looks like your problem here [1].
    Can you confirm whether that’s you’re case ?
