When trying to create a new user the following types of errors happen. If
any of these are removed from /etc/skel it just keeps going on to the next >and the next

I have the same files in /etc/skel that I have used in creating the default >user for the last 5 years. Is it now an adduser requirement to not have >whitespace in filenames?
