• Bug#1101401: libconfig-model-dpkg-perl: Strange =?UTF-8?Q?=C2=ABDebian_

From Guillem Jover@21:1/5 to All on Thu Mar 27 02:30:01 2025
    Package: libconfig-model-dpkg-perl
    Version: 3.012
    Severity: normal

    Hi!

I've been noticing and fixing lately several packages where they had
instances of «Debian GNU» which looked rather odd. I just realized now
that it looks like «cme fix» might have introduced those!

I think the fixed to get rid of «Debian GNU/Linux» is good, as there
are other non-GNU/Linux ports around. But I don't think the fix for
that should be replacing with «Debian GNU» but instead simply «Debian».

    Thanks,
    Guillem

    Indeed.

Oh boy, this behavior was introduced in 2011.

Anyway, this makes sense. I'm going to fix this.

    All the best
