• Bug#1102493: vpcs: New upstream and package outdated

From Jaap Keuter@21:1/5 to All on Wed Apr 9 17:50:01 2025
    Package: vpcs
    Version: 0.5b2-2.2
    Severity: normal
    X-Debbugs-Cc: jaap.keuter@xs4all.nl

    Dear Maintainer,

While setting up GNS3 its usability is severely limited due to lack of an up- to-date vpcs package.
The vpcs package page already reports that the upstream cannot be found. Probable reason is that development of the project has moved to the GNS3 project at https://github.com/GNS3/vpcs
Please update homepage and upstream source.

The vpcs package has been stale at 0.5b2-2.2 since buster, while development has continued to 0.8.3 since September 2023.
Please update the source and binary packages to take advantage of these developments.

    Thanks,
    Jaap
