    So Linux thinks there is a problem in your firmware. Can you please
    provide the complete kernel log from boot? "dmesg" should work or
    "journalctl -b 0".

    - Fails when booted normally.
    - Works when "intel_iommu=off" is specified on kernel command line.

    This is an indication that your firmware sets up the iommu wrong, and
    older versions of Linux just did not use it. As everything points to
    firmware problems, I don't know if we can do much.
