• Bug#1106875: chrony adds more servers with each reload

From MichaelR@21:1/5 to All on Sat May 31 00:00:01 2025
    Package: chrony
    Version: 4.6.1-2
    Severity: normal
    X-Debbugs-Cc: michaelr42@runbox.com

    Dear Maintainer,

"chronyc reload sources" causes more and more servers to be recruited.
If my config contains a single pool with "maxsources 3", for example,
then each reload adds 3 more servers. Bookworm's v4.3 would properly
limit the number of servers used.

I can reproduce this issue. It's a regression (?) introduced in chrony 4.6,
so let's wait for Miroslav to shed some lights here.

    Cheers,
    Vincent
