Description : multiple language runtime version manager
asdf is a CLI tool that can manage multiple language runtime
versions on a per-project basis. It is like gvm, nvm, rbenv
and pyenv (and more) all in one! Simply install your language's
plugin!
The URL is asdf-vm.com
Maybe this could be called "asdf-vm" according to the upstream name?
"asdf" also refers to the Advanced Scientific Data Format, https://github.com/asdf-format/.
Cheers
Ole
I'm not really opposed to using asdf-vm if that prevents genuine
ambiguity. Are any of these packages a) packaged for Debian, b) provide
a binary called 'asdf'?

python-asdf, cl-asdf, and asdftool are all packaged for Debian. None
of
them so far as I can tell produce a binary called asdf, but cl-asdf
does
have an info page named asdf, so there's some potential for confusion there. (cl-asdf and python-asdf narrowly avoid having a conflict
over
info pages already.)
