• Fixes that would close ITP bugs 671296 and 1006705

From Eivind Naess@21:1/5 to All on Tue Mar 29 20:00:01 2022
I have a packages made ready which would close both 1006705 and 671296
    - https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=671296
    - https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1006705

    The GIT repository is here:
    - git clone https://git.launchpad.net/~eivnaes/+git/sstp-client-package
    - git clone https://code.launchpad.net/~eivnaes/+git/network-manager-sstp-package

For the respective bugs. Would anyone be able to help me with a review and an upload of these packages? I've previously hosted a repository for Ubuntu out of launchpad, but I've gotten a handful of request from people wanting this to be a package for
    Debian 11.

    Thanks in advance!

    Regards,
    - Eivind

Are you going to be the maintainer for these packages in Debian or just
want someone to upload them once?
Note that Debian 11 was already released and so adding new packages to it
is not possible. They can be uploaded to backports though, once they are
    in testing.

OK, I've read the first bug report and it seems that you indeed don't
intend to maintain these packages in Debian. In that case the answer is
still "you need to wait for someone to volunteer" and you should retitle
    both ITPs into RFPs.

I think the next step would be to review, then upload? Ideally, I'd be maintaining this with my own credentials on Salsa, right?
