vcswatch - how to fix Error: fatal: missing blob object '...'

Hi!
I think I've broken vcswatch :(
I was updating jupyter-server-mathjax, but probably messed up a commit
along the line. Anyway, somehow, vcswatch now says:
Error: fatal: missing blob object 'ae757feb8182c5c3d2934dee63504ea0a87f02ac' error: remote did not send all necessary objects
I checked in my local repository, and the object did once exist (as
discovered by git filter-repo --analyze). So I did a Repository
cleanup on salsa to ensure that things were clean, and this commit was
not included in the commit-map.
But it still exists in the results of git filter-repo --analyze, and
vscwatch is still making the same complaint.
I have no idea how to fix this - if it is even possible to - any
suggestions would be very welcome!
Best wishes,
Julian
