KATE's "About Kate" identifies itself as "Version 22.12.3"
All software has been installed using only Synaptic 0.91.3

Though I've been using computers since early 60's,
I'm a KATE newbie - what have I missed ?????????
Are macros available in the Debian release of KATE?
