  • Problem with Deja Dup

    I have just installed Bookworm on my new computer and have encountered a perplexing problem.

    Deja Dup refuses to find my backups. I don't have the faintest idea as 
    to what is wrong or how to fix it. There were no problems with restoring
    files on the computer that I retired.

    I would really appreciate some guidance as to solutions.

    Did you select the backup folder in the settings?

    Does it have read permissions?
    User-IDs can be different from the old system.

    Thanks for the reply.

    I checked the permissions - they were read.

    Just for the heck of it I tried Restore and it worked! All is now well.
