Does anyone know if there is a forum or email group for testing Trixie. I
did a upgrade from Debian 12 to 13 using apt-get dist-upgrade. The upgrade went through but after I rebooted I did not have any entries in KDE's application launcher. I created a new account of the device and it
    populated successfully.

Other than the application launcher issue the rest of the upgrade went smooth.

Now that we're close to Trixie's release as Stable, it feels
appropriate to me to start posting install reports here, positive and
    negative.

(As opposed to six months ago, when "Testing is broken!" is
    something to be expected.)

I upgraded my second system and it had the same issue. I created a new user account and it was fine. I copied the "." files from the new user to my account and chowned them to my user account. I then logged into my user account and everything was correct. I am not sure which files in the "."
were replaced. I also had no icons in icon only task manager.

IIRC for the default KDE6 theme to work, you need some svg lib which is recommended by one of the plasma*
package. Check whether you install recommended packages, or only dependencies. I am not on my trixie, thus
cannot give you now the package name for the library
