I plan to use netinst to install Debian stable on a Dell Vostro 200
(with a Intel Core 2 sticker) to devote exclusively to a weather
server running "weewx" (which is written in python) 24/7.
weewx downloads data from a Davis Instruments console, creates web
pages with graphical displays, and uploads the pages to my web site.
In the past I have run weewx. If I recall correctly, the system was
able to update the web site once a minute. However, it has been many
moons since I have installed and configured weewx.
Does Debian amd64 run on the Vostro 200, or must I use i386?
All my Core2Duos are 64 bit. I wasn't aware there was any such thing as a 32 bit
Core2 anything.
