If you want to install Debian quickly and have it operate correctly, use "Stable":

Before you install Debian, I suggest:
1. Boot the computer into Setup and reset all the settings to factory defaults. If Setup has a hardware diagnostic test utility, run it. If
Setup has the ability to secure erase the drive that you will install
Debian onto, secure erase that drive.
2. If your Setup utility does not have secure erase, check the drive manufacturer.
3. If neither Setup nor your manufacturer have secure erase, boot the
Debian installer into a rescue shell and zero fill the drive that you
want to install Debian onto.
