• Long shot: debug board for Efika Smartbook

From David Boddie@21:1/5 to All on Mon Aug 15 16:50:01 2022
    Hi,

I've got an old Efika MX Smartbook that doesn't seem to boot any longer.
The power light blinks but nothing happens. Changing the DIP switches doesn't seem to influence this.

My one hope is that a debug board could help to diagnose the problem, but
it seems that those were quite rare and were sold out quite early on.

I hope this isn't too off-topic for this list. I noticed that some people had been doing things with this hardware many years ago, and I wondered if anyone still had a debug board lying around that they don't need.

    Regards,

    David

    Hi Gérald,

Thanks for replying and taking a look for me. I'll take our discussion
off-list from now on - just leaving a message for the public record.

    Regards,

    David

    Hi,

I may look in my stock...

I may have 2 efika smartbooks and one efika smartbox still working
normally but untested from long time.
I also have keyboards (french azerty and us qerty) replacement.
And, if I remember well, as a privileged partner for the DouDouLinux
portage on ARMHF on Efika, I may also have a Debug Board in my hardware
    tools stock.
I will look at, and you may contact me in private if you care and preffer...
