    Dear Maintainer,

    * What led up to the situation?

Had Thunderbird and goodvibes-client open. I closed the lid (laptop
screen). Aproximately an hour later I open the lid, everything seemed to work, radio continued playing and I was able to read my mails, and then
    few seconds later it froze.

    * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
    ineffective)?

I tried waitting a couple minutes, then I tried accessing the ttys
(Ctrl+Alt F3, F4..etc) no effect. Keys would not respond. Completly
locked up. Had to hard reset by holding down power button.

    * What was the outcome of this action?

When system came back up it fixed the corrupted file system due to the
hard reset, and appears to be working again. The log reads
"kernel: watchdog: Watchdog detected hard LOCKUP on cpu" on all cpu.

Can you please retest this with the most recent kernel for the 6.12.y
stable series, 6.12.32-1 in unstable and if yes, please report new
    fresh complete logs?

    Regards,
    Salvatore
