    I support this request. This will bring new webcam support for a lot of Intel-based laptops, including models that are actively advertised with
    Linux support and sold with Ubuntu/Fedora preinstalled.

    The corresponding system is called Intel Image Processing Unit 6
    (IPU6). Until now, this requires to build custom kernel modules and
    install firmware from third-party sources on Debian: https://github.com/intel/ipu6-drivers

    Since kernel 6.10, kernel modules are available in the tree and
