• Re: Bug#1077023: bad build time package dependency for nfs-utils

Sorry, I didn't mean to blame you. My real problem is, I have an NFS
server based on Debian 12 in the office that gets stuck every other
week. nfsd just stops and cannot be killed, see #1071562. *This* is
the bug report not making any progress.

All I can do is trying to improve the NFServer, eg by installing the
most recent nfs-utils and an up-to-date kernel. If this doesn't help
I have to move back to Debian 11, or ditch Debian in favor of RHEL.

Thanks for clarifying te scope :). And sorry for the late reply, busy
    with other this week.

#1071562 might need that we reassign it to src:linux, but I will try
    to look into it.

If you have the issue almost easily reproducible, if you disable NFSv4
read delegations (thorugh fs.leases-enable=0), does the situation
    improves?

For context of the debian-kernel list, there is as well discussion on https://lore.kernel.org/linux-nfs/4c3080af-eec7-4af5-8b0d-c35ac98ec074@aixigo.com/
