Hi folks

We will rename the branches in the linux git repository in a short
while. This will incorporate the spirit of DEP 14 with a bit of special
sauce.

The HEAD branch, currently called master, will become debian/latest.

All the other suite specific branches will be updated to "debian/<version>/<suite>", aka:
- sid becomes debian/6.11/trixie
- bookworm becomes debian/6.1/bookworm
etc

Foregoing, please only open merge requests against debian/latest and not against a suite specific branch, until it is a version specific fix.

I'm not a Debian expert, that why I'm asking:

What happend with *sid/unstable* vs "trixie/testing"?.
On [1] the version table shows one version per suite.

They are debian/latest for uploads to experimental (formely master
branch), and for now debian/6.11/trixie for unstable uploads, but once
6.12 moves to unstable this becomes debian/6.12/trixie.

I think Bastian has updates all related merge requests as well to make
them merge into the correct branches.
