    Hello,
    On a recent portage update:

    * ERROR: dev-perl/XML-Parser-2.460.0-r1::gentoo failed (install phase):
    * Something went badly wrong, can't find Expat.so. Please file a bug.
    *
    There is a bug filed for this:

    https://bugs.gentoo.org/827966

    Just wondering whether anyone has seen this error and has a suggestion
    for a quick work around.
