That seems to work, but it looks like only about half
    the posts are there. ?
My test was a dismal flop, as propagation through the
server takes a day or two. It's not really healthy
    at the moment.

    Hello folks! 🙂
For quite some time I've been using BLOCKNEWS to read newsgroups.
They are as 'cheap as chips'! https://blocknews.net
All Microsoft groups are available AFAICT
Most of my personal posting is now on 'alt.computer.workshop'.
    Everyone is welcome! :-D

    Warm regards,
    David B.

So why are you posting from GG and using a proxy?

I tried to post this normally but I see from your
post I can't. I already tried twice and it failed. Now
    I know why.

So please excuse posting on this thread.

    I have a Dell XPS 8500, with Windows 7
    Professional, SP1, with Spywareblaster,
    Malwarebytes, Avast , Windows Defender
    and Windows firewall.

    (2) TB HD
    Seagate Desktop HDD ST2000DM001 2TB 64MB
    Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5"
    Internal Hard Drive

    I also have

I have a Dell Optiplex 780 Tower, with
    Windows 7 Professional,SP1, with
    Spywareblaster, Malwarebytes, Avast ,
    Windows Defender and Windows firewall.

    Seagate Desktop HDD ST2000DM001 2TB 64MB
    Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5"
System type : 64-bit operating system

    and (external hard drives)

    (8500)

    Seagate Desktop HDD ST6000DM001 6TB 128MB
    Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5"
System type : 64-bit operating system

    (780)
    Seagate Desktop HDD ST2000DM001 2TB 64MB
    Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5"
    Internal Hard Drive

    This concerns the 8500, I don't really have a
problem per se but I've noticed that recently
when I click on pages or links instead of it
going directly to it I get a circle like its
busy or that it takes an inordinate amount of
    time to load.
If I click the link again then it will appear
or if reload the page it will but I never had
to wait before. The 8500 was always fast and I
never had to wait at all.

Also and this could just be with Fox News but
the page jumps by itself to picture in picture
format but if I scroll back up it returns to
full screen. It never did that before either.

I did a HD Tune and also checked my HD for free space.
