When scooter and Hartung and "pothole" and BlueBitch and any of the other right-wingnuts start blabbering about "legal vs illegal" immigration, it's bullshit. Like Trump, they don't want *any* immigration, because the immigrants are all non-white. Their phony focus on "legal vs illegal" is nothing but a red herring.

It's a very simple and basic concept.

And my point is that we should return to the immigration policies of the post Civil War
era. The vast majority of illegal immigration today is because white Anglos fear
"contamination" of their purity by brown, non English speaking non Protestants. When the
massive influx of immigrants, such as our forbears, were white, Christian and came from
northern and western Europe, there wasn't a problem.

But then a wave of Catholics and Orthodox eastern Europe started flowing in along with
"olive" skinned Mediterraneans and the white Fundies got the heebie jeebies.

Current immigration policy is ethnic and religious based and is a mistake.

See? You puppets take something and twist it around. The law says enter
at the proper points of entry. It always has. Just follow the law. You
cross anywhere else you get sent back or arrested. Pretty simple.

I answer plenty. In fact, Skeeter and I have entered into some dialog and gotten away
from the insult tossing and knee jerk reactions we have up to now been engaging in.
