| Congress should start by providing better pathways for high-skilled
| immigrants to live and work in the US. Ideas abound: increasing the
| number of green cards and removing per-country caps, which
| disproportionately affect applicants from India and China; raising
| the limit on H-1B visas and prioritizing candidates with critical
| skills; stapling green cards to STEM Ph.D.s granted by US
| universities; eliminating red tape for high-skill visa categories;
| revising rules to make it easier for recipients to leave academia
| for the private sector; creating a startup visa program for
| entrepreneurs; and so on. What's lacking is political will.
Has Trump authorized Susie Wiles to provide polling data to JD Vance
and does Vance feel any threat from a 2028 striver for WhiteHouse.GOV outflanking Trump-Vance from the right by campaigning for an
immigration moratorium?
