advanced economy. Americans won't spend $5 extra for a coffeemaker
just because it's marked, "Made in USA".

higher. Cheap goods in the stores is effectively the same as a rise
in wages for a consumer because it means he can buy more than he could before.

of guns. That's why the US offered that policy after WWI and why it

lower than their profit point.
