    Trump should go away while the going is good, and live out his life.
    But I suspect Trumps ego will do him in.

    I didn't read the poll, but I'm going to disagree with the headline.

    IMO, if Trump gets *convicted*, those results probably stand up, maybe
    even more than 57% to 38%.

    If the charges get thrown out rapidly, it'll just be fuel for Trump's supporters.

    If the trials run on for months but he's found Not Guilty before the
    primaries, I don't think it'll hurt his chances all that much.

    If the trials drag on into October 2024 or later, and if despite that he becomes the party nominee or runs 3rd party, it probably hurts his
    chances.
