Mike Lindell says MyPillow has been crippled by American Express
slashing their credit line: 'We really need everybody's help right
    now'

Mike Lindell said MyPillow was left crippled after American
    Express slashed their credit line.

"No reason, no explanation, just dropped it down last Tuesday," he
said on the "War Room" podcast.

A Minnesota bank previously terminated Lindell as a client after
    calling him a "reputation risk."
    ...
    ...
"Out of the blue, they took our credit line from a million dollars
down to $100,000," Lindell said. "Just cripples MyPillow. No reason,
no explanation, just dropped it down last Tuesday."
    ...
    ...
The pillow magnate has been a staunch advocate of former President
Donald Trump's groundless election fraud claims. Lindell's avowed
support for Trump, however, has greatly impacted his pillow business.

In July, Lindell auctioned off equipment from his pillow factory in
Minnesota. Lindell said at the time that he was hawking equipment
after the company lost more than $100 million in retail sales.

Lindell is also fending off a billion-dollar defamation lawsuit from
voting technology company Dominion Voting Systems, and another from
Smartmatic over claims that he made about both companies' role in the
    2020 election.

Sorry you ruined your business, dude. Actually, I'm not, I really don't

He'll be OK; what it ruins is all the employees who no longer have a job.
Will they blame Trump for that? Possibly not.

Totally agree. Sometimes stupidity costs you money. Sometimes it costs
you your whole business. He's toxic, a total reputation risk. I
wouldn't buy one of his stupid pillows under any circumstances now.

Goodbye ShittyPillow, you won't be missed.

Being in a state of grandioseness tends to swell the brain.

A person may have euphoric highs when they are
bullshitting....thinking they have convinced others of nonsense.

Too many people have joined Trump's circus, but have ended up in court
    rooms.

You make a good point. We can probably guess everyone has now been well conditioned to blame Joe Biden/"The Man!™"/Immigrants/Transgenders and
    the like.

I once worked for a moron, and left because it seemed too risky to
continue putting my salary/family at stake for an irascible and
unpredictable CEO drunk on self-importance and blind to good business decision-making. No regrets.

Nor do I care... He should have kept his mouth shut about his political opinions. That's what you do, when you own a business. Why alienate customers?

Update, now his lawyers are all quitting because he can't afford to pay
them to defend him against the lawsuits that are going to destroy him.

    /sad trombone sound/

Great article that lists the many other, big dollar lawsuits he faces.
He also was ordered by a court to pay up on the $5M "Prove Mike Wrong"
bet he lost to a software developer. Hilarious.

Stupid is a bad look. Stupid and loudmouthed is worse. Stupid,
loudmouthed, and encouraging the legal teams of large corporations to
sue you out of business and into jail is a specific kind of
ultra-stupid. But to use this moment to continue barking about security
the integrity of democracy ... this guy is just another clown in the
    clown show.

LOL, that's great. I still see some "My Pillow" advertisements on TV,
on stations such as "MeTV"... A recent one was going on about
appreciating loyal customers, and passing on great savings on their now-discontinued bedsheets line... He's obviously grasping for straws
at this point. The commercial didn't have me convinced that he's
    anything but desperate, now.

Was thinking: the guy had a basically successful business. In order to continue making scads of money in this business all he had to do was:

    1. not be a moron/keep mouth shut.

That's it. Imagine working for a basically successful company that is
now bankrupt, liquidating assets, clearly headed for total implosion,
all because the moron CEO decided to get on TV and spout bullshit. You
can imagine the workers watching his first little interview and saying,
'oh uh, time to warm up the CV and get looking for a new job.'

Wiki's comments tend to suggest he was on a downhill slope, before
    jacking his jaws for Trump.
