Who can do that to a nine year old? Just snatch her up and hold for
ransom. Lord knows what else he did to that poor girl. As the father
of a nine year old myself, sometimes I believe in the death penalty.
That disgusting 47 year old, pop him off, let him hang from a tree,
whatever. Just finish him; Don't waste the tax payer dollars doing so.
Rope from the tree in town square is pretty cheap.

Putting people in relatively comfortable jails is not successfully
deterring crime.
Bring back public executions, painful, horrifying ones, make them
public. Hell you could make them a Friday evening television program.
Lots of people I know would rearrange their calendars to make sure they
had time to tune in. Some bars I know would probably turn it into a
feature event.

IMO he should be locked in a cage (hide the key), hose him off when he
gets too ripe, feed him on dog food or hog slops and let him enjoy the
next few years. I think that he won't be interested in holding little
girls for ransom after a while.

It wasn't long ago that I was an older teen, and them's kids stubborn. They aren't young children anymore, and they'll do what they want. The only difference between 17/18 is a number.
The point I was trying to get across is that pedophiles (13<) are a true abomination. I've known stories of parents who'll oust their 17 y/o daughters
