I received this today:

"This phone number is being linked to a Toyota account. We need your
permission to sent you text messages. Text YES to accept, or You
understand that you may opt out by texting STOP"

The "permission to sent you text messages" shows fractured English.

I deleted the message....never text 'stop' unless the sender is known.
I wonder how many people text 'stop'
