• rapes in Mexico

Katie Britt used decades-old example of rapes in Mexico as Republican
    attack on Biden border policy

The Republican senator who gave the party's response to President Joe
Biden's State of the Union address used a harrowing account of a young
woman's sexual abuse to attack his border policies, but the rapes did
not happen in the U.S. or during the Biden administration.

First-term Sen. Katie Britt of Alabama in the GOP response criticized
current immigration policies, describing how she had met a woman at
the U.S.-Mexico border who told of being raped thousands of times in a
sex trafficking operation run by cartels, starting at age 12.

The victim has previously spoken publicly about the abuse happening in
her home country of Mexico from 2004 to 2008 -- not in the United
States during the Biden administration. Yet, Britt used the account to
chastise Biden's action on the border.

Does it make the young lady's experience any less harrowing?

In US, there are laws against pimping and pandering, and I suspect if
US crime stats are browsed, it still happens in US.

In her case, it was in Mexico, and Katie was doing a political
shenanigan on Biden. Further, that young lady does not approve of
Katie's remarks, nor was she consulted about using her story, which
happened in the Bush admin era.

President Biden can bear the brunt of accountability for the
present day deluge of criminals into America

Statistically, there are thousands and thousands of US citizens
involved in criminal acts daily. It has been that way for years and
years. I believe the stats for those crossing into US is quite low.

Rs have been stalling on passing a bill, but the finger of blame needs
to point at Trump....during his POTUS term, and now his influence
    behind the scenes.
