The film fans who refuse to surrender to streaming: 'One day you'll

As more movies vanish from streaming services, cinephiles are
rallying
to physical media. Can they save a seemingly dying format?

Well
the truth is that
Streaming services are for people who are too stupid, afraid, or
brainwashed just to download the content itself.
In 2006 the majority of the internet traffic was literally P2P users
outside of regular browsing. This changed with Netflix and other
services. Allowing people who are willing to pay for the same content.
With more phone users then Hard-wired internet the anonymity of being
invisible ( needle in haystack ) is gone from broadband users, and
especially those who can not afford a T1 or T2 internet connection.
Making Downloaders out in the open, depending on the content.
In fact on your firestick you can use an app to access this same
content without downloading it ( streaming ) as long as there is a
seeder. The idea works where a downloader would also be able to gain
access to the content itself, but of course this will always leave
pieces of the content unavailable or missing.
Further more you literally could capture video on your device via
other methods. If you notice things like "Printscreen" (
screen capturing with your phone ) is disabled. However via other
means you could record whatever you are watching
However the truth is this. The content from Netflix, Amazon,
CrunchyRoll and so forth is sub-par. Often times they put commercials
and crap in between just so you do not have to pay for the content
outside of viewing on the service ( which you are paying for ).
People complaining about how "They can not watch, view, or
whatever" when in reality the DVR option is there, but not on the
phone itself.
Lack of education via motivation of fear.
"Hey look son I can do it too, oh wait the content is not
there"
Lambs to the slaughter basically
