• cannabis has outpaced alcohol

From JAB@21:1/5 to All on Sat May 25 19:46:23 2024
For the first time, cannabis has outpaced alcohol as the daily drug of
choice for Americans. In 2022, 17.7 million people reported using
cannabis either every day or nearly every day, compared with 14.7
million who reported using alcohol that often.

Usage and possession is not legal in all US States.

1785, in William Cowper's poem The Task:
"Variety is the very spice of life, that gives it all its flavor."

Being a daily user would be opposed by Cowper

    That
is because twelve year olds are no longer smoking the E-cigs but CBD
garbage. They are buying it from people who grows it, or brought it
from the store, like cigarettes. These "dealers" are
charging them extra over-head for them to buy it. Wasting there lives
into adult-hood getting high and not being educated or working out.
They will be checking out that THC stuff and sooner or later. Honestly
the idea of removing THC from a plant is lame.

We need to just grow things naturally, and not have to worry about
stupidity. Honestly I am a plant person and enjoy having all kinds of
    stuff in the garden area.

About Alcohol. You can make varieties at home with race, grape-juice,
and other mixes and varieties. Including grapes.
I had sorrel sitting around for more then a year and took it out, to
find it become a nice drink. I do not need to go to the store and
purchase crap promoting Party-girls from the mid-west. I could make it
at home in high amounts with over the counter materials.

IIRC, the variety used for ropes has a low THC content

Lets be fair. I am talking about just buying the plant and growing it
for the sake of growing it.

Many of these store vendors are selling mutations. I Just want the
    regular plant.

I don't use or follow this topic, but my understanding is cannabis's
potency is much higher today, than what was available in 1970s.

Hashish is more potent, but there is cannabis available near this
potency. Good hash, when smoked with a chillum pipe, can send a
person "off" in one good toke. I have no idea what today's cannabis
can do, but they say it is more potent.
