Presidents Xi and Putin's bodyguards break the internet with awkwardly hilarious nod at Harbin, China diplomatic meeting

As international tensions grow, a very brief and very awkward moment
between Russian and Chinese presidential bodyguards has lit up the
    internet.

In a geopolitical landscape dominated tension and conflict, an
unexpected moment of awkward hilarity has captured the attention of
    millions of internet users.

Two of the toughest bodyguards on the Sino-Soviet bloc, entrusted with protecting the most powerful men in the world, have unwittingly become
online sensations with their iconic greeting.

The scene unfolded at a diplomatic meeting between Chinese President
Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Harbin, China.

As the world leaders greeted dignitaries in front of them, two
security guards have broken the internet with their hilarious exchange

A burly Russian security guard awkwardly sidles up to his Chinese
counterpart who glances out his side-eye for a brief moment of
    uncomfortable avoidance.

After the Russian guard looks again, the two men lock eyes and engage
in what the internet has described as the "man nod".

It has been defined by one internet user as: "A nod of the head
similar to the nod of acknowledgement but can be used between any two
men, not just friends. It is an unspoken greeting in which only
another man nod is an appropriate response."

Social media platforms have exploded with reactions as people from all
around the world have related to the awkward greeting.

Very powerful, very masculine. I could totally imagine Trump joining
    that party as well!

Yes, but that does not stop someone from being powerful and masculine.

In a Christian world, this behavior is taboo. Neither of them are
    religious, nor is Trump.

"Historian Laurence Rees found no evidence that "Hitler, in his
personal life, ever expressed belief in the basic tenets of the
Christian church". Ernst Hanfstaengl, a friend from his early days in
politics, says Hitler "was to all intents and purposes an atheist by
the time I got to know him"."

    Stop
    trying to start a thing.

If this was the era of flash we would see tons of replays comical
    music.

I mean they both are humans and have to take this event seriously.

I remember walking outside for my ex I do exercise. Nodded some people

nearby me. They nodded back and a little while start to laugh about
    that
    nod.

Seriously they are just being respectful. They are human, life is not
    a videogame-movie.
This is not "Street Fighter II" movie where M.Vega ( Bison )
is walking with the big-four and
the stereotype scientist moves out of the way with fear.
    .......

I have been around tons of guards, they are very human, and things
    could
    get crazy.

You want to see "Body Guards" go visit the Twin-Towers site.
You will be greeted by the
most kindest man there ( Very tall ), and tourist will be like
"Is it possible if we could see inside the
building" and he will call his supervisor who is an even bigger
guy ( so tall he has to lean
down when he opens the door, with two smaller big guys. ) I am not
    kidding you. It is like
    a protocol of some sort.

This video these guys are not so tall. Maybe the leaders had inching
    boots.

What does this have to do with christianity? And where is this christian
world? I've never seen it except for a few lunatics here and there. Most
people seem to care very little about christianity.

"Historian Laurence Rees found no evidence that "Hitler, in his

If he was a fan of Nietzsche I would say that it is not too far fetched to think that Hitler was an atheist.

I wasn't able to see the video because that website is stuffed with trackers/etc. that my system filters, it never downloaded. But I get the
    idea.

Was thinking: if your job is "Putin's bodyguard" you must spend a lot of
time taking the first sip of soup, the first sip of coffee from the cup,
the first bite of the chicken etc. just to make sure nothing was
    poisoned. One day, you die.

Could be worse: Melania Trump has a worse job than Putin's bodyguard
    does.

No, I think he organises his court based on medieval patterns. He has
tasters, spectrometers and other equipment for that.

French President Emmanuel Macron refused a Kremlin request that he
take a Russian COVID-19 test when he arrived to see President Vladimir
Putin this week, to prevent Russia getting hold of Macron's DNA, two
sources in Macron's entourage told Reuters.
    ...
    ..
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed that Macron had declined the
test and said Russia had no problem with this, but it meant that a
6-metre (20 feet) distance from Putin was required in order to protect
    the Kremlin leader's health.

It was on X, but I suspect tracking is there too....last I knew, most commercial sites do tracking, etc.

Just two dudes nodding to each other...no conversation since they
    don't speak the other's language.

Yep... his mind is going. We can only hope that it will get worse over
time so that he overrides his generals with disastrous decisions so that Ukraine will win the war.
