Alcohol, Obesity and Smoking Do Not Cost Health Care Systems Money

It's a common enough argument around the world at the moment, that
various unhealthy behaviours increase the costs to health care
systems. Thus those unhealthy behaviours should be taxed more heavily
so as to pay for the costs to those health care systems. The only
problem with the argument is that it is entirely gibbering nonsense,
unhealthy behaviours reduce costs to health care systems: if we are to
accept the initial logic then we should subsidise them, not tax them

    Alcohol
    1. Cause many problems with the body
    2. Hamper on the Liver, and possibly kidney
    3. It is a poison as your body attempts to get rid of it, that is the
    feeling that is "good"
    4. Causes DWI DUI deaths, cases, lock-ups, and ruin lives.
    5. Makes many spouses become violent and excuse for violence. This was
    before domestic issues became real.

However Alcohol is good for studying ( in college ), you strap down to
a chair, and need to read $@#$#$.
Alcohol can be used as pick me up during the day. Make your heart race
faster ( because it is a poison ).
Alcohol is good for cooking, and cuts, and during a fever could be
    used to raise body temperature.

    Obesity
    1. Richard-Simmons said "Lose weight and feel great"
    2. Li-pho suction, surgeries even after losing weight or if it is
    pushed on your medically necessary.
    3. forces a person to breath more, despite slowing transport of
    microbes.
    4. fat is needed to hold the body up in various places
    5. Muscles becomes fat if not maintained. Meaning a body-builder is
putting themselves at risk. It is costly,
    to have heart surgery
    6. Diabetes on set lack of insulin, in opposite of too much. However
athletes can have diabetes. Have you seen
what a person in diabetic o coma looks like
    7. Getting your limbs chopped off due too much weight, or danger of
    stroke
    8. Not being able to have the idea or full potential sex you should be
having. In fact losing the weight in men
could greatly improve penis size when full. Something to look forward
    to.
    9. People think you have "leftover obesity".
    10. Your man chest looks like pre-teen breasts hanging out.

    Smoking
    1. Lung transplant if caught soon enough.
    2. Kidney failure.
    3. Exposed to bad chemicals.
    4. Exposed to radiation.
    5. dries the skin real fast ( steals water from your body ).
    6. Weight gain after stop smoking.
    7. Despite not being fat you can have the problems of a fat person.
    8. Clogged arteries.
    9. Inability to do simple things, like defend yourself or outrun a
    sluggish person.

However smoking can be used to calm the nerves. So smoking before an
    exam, might be good.
    Smoking "Weed" actually can release
tension and prevent a heart attack ( stroke in heart area ) from being
    worst as with
"Clerks" creator. "Smoking all that weed apparently
relaxed his body, and prevented his heart attack from being
worst". "weed" again can be used as pain relief instead
of pain-reliever ( medical prescribed ). Which is good
for the body as pain-revilers are absorbed into the Liver, and thus
could hurt your bodies ability to clean it's liquid.
    ..........

Keep in mind LSD is not bad in general but the fact somebody could
take advantage of you in that state of mind.
Same with being drunk. Really drunk. However simple things around the
home could make a person high or messed up ( which I will not mention
    ) like brain damaged.

The reason why those things are a medical expense is because it
creates problems for various reasons. It can also make
you age faster in various instances.

Alcohol = dries your skin ( including cleaners )
Smoking = makes your skin age
Obesity = stretches your skin and add mass to your body.
