Scammers are getting more sophisticated these days.
In my Gmail inbox today, the scammer is using a Gmail return address
which is a dead give-away.
Scammer says,
1. Thank you for using PayPal as your preferred mode of transaction.
2. "If you do not approve this payment and wish to cancel, please
contact us right away at +1(xxx) xxx-xxxx within 24 hours of receiving
this confirmation email.
3. Your account will be charged $549.99 USD ============================================
Paypal always sends out a billing notice, and actual Paypal's billing
to my CC does not happen until I have received the item. So calling
their number is a big no/no since they will suckup your CC info.
