In addition to Shahed drones, Russian forces are increasingly
deploying drones of unspecified types, according to Yurii Ignat, a
spokesperson for Ukraine's Air Force. On the night of October 5, three
Shahed drones were shot down, but 10 other drones were lost in the
southern and northern regions. These could likely be different types
of UAVs, which are identified by specialists on the ground.

One type being used more frequently is the Gerbera drone, produced by
Russia in three variants: for radio-electronic reconnaissance, as a
kamikaze, or as a decoy target. Reports suggest that these drones are
cheaply made, with fuselages constructed from foam and low production standards, which can lead to them malfunctioning or crashing on their
    own.
