Hundreds are dead in Spain's floods. Scientists see a connection to
    climate change
    ...
    ...
It's one of the most deadly weather events in modern Spanish history,
and climate scientists see a connection to human-caused global
    warming.

Climate change made this week's intense rainfall about 12% heavier and
twice as likely, according to a rapid analysis by World Weather
Attribution, an international network of scientists who assess the
impact of climate change on major weather events.

"There is a clear climate change footprint on events like this one,"
Daniel Swain, a climate scientist at UCLA who was not involved in the
    analysis, writes in an email.

My father is close to the area (2 hours further south) at the moment. One
thing I have _not_ heard or seen in international press, but which was mentioned in the spanish local press, is that the politicians in some of
the worst affected cities, neglected to clean and maintain drains and
outlets for water, so they had been filled with growth, garbage and sand.

If they would have been maintained properly, the water would have passed through that system, and the cities would not have been as heavily
    affected.

But given the current eco-fascist narrative, let's just blame it all on
    climate change. ;)

Wolf, Wolf....Shit happens when this happens:

How a Year of Rain Flooded Spain in Eight Hours

PS: Drains were not designed to handle that amount of water.

As per the local news, they are, since the villages have experienced
floods historically. It is nothing new. It is just that corrupt
politicians don't do what they are supposed to be doing.
