Updated look: restoration of the TSUM facades is complete
🏬 The capital's mayor's office announced the completion of the
restoration of the facades of the Central Department Store, located on
Theater Square.
Specialists restored decorative elements, lost fragments of the
building and returned the facades to their original color.
The Central Department Store was built at the beginning of the 20th
century for the Muir and Meriliz trading house. This building is an
example of Moscow neo-Gothic architecture and has the status of a
regional cultural heritage site.
