What Happened the Last Time a President Purged the Bureaucracy

The impact can linger not just for years but decades.

On Jan. 22, 1953, his first day as secretary of state, John Foster
Dulles addressed a group of diplomats at his department's still-new headquarters in Washington's Foggy Bottom neighborhood. For years, the
State Department had come under fire from Republicans and conservative activists as a haven for Communist spies and sympathizers -- and not
without reason, since one of its rising stars, Alger Hiss, had been
convicted of perjury in January 1950 for lying about giving secret
government documents to a Soviet spy.

I don't like communists. They should be deported together with the

    You're always welcome!

Am I allowed to ask what a "homo denier" is?

    Of course!

Is it somebody who denies entry to a "homo", like not turning
your back to them with your pants down, or is it a "homo" that
    denies being a "homo"?

It could also be a straighto who denies the existence of homos!

I just asked the wife, and she liked the homo denying being a homo. Would
    that be the anti-homo?

In my case, I'd lean towards the straighto denying the existence of homos.

An organizations text on their web site is not covered under freedom of
speech. Neither does it imply the employees right to write what ever they

    AI Overview

According to recent reports, the National Institutes of Health (NIH)
has been removing public information from its website due to
directives from the Trump administration, which has resulted in a
purge of certain webpages and datasets related to sensitive topics
like gender and diversity, effectively limiting public access to
federally funded research information; this action has been criticized
by scientists and public health leaders as potentially hindering
    research progress and transparency.

Maybe a pinch on the paranoid side...there are lots of people speaking

It would be futile for the "powers that be" to whip the dissenters.

Pope rebukes Trump administration over migrant deportations, and

Pope Francis issued a major rebuke Tuesday to the Trump
administration's plans for mass deportations of migrants, warning that
the forceful removal of people purely because of their illegal status
deprives them of their inherent dignity and "will end badly."

direct aim at Vice President JD Vance's defense of the deportation
    program on theological grounds.
