Any Americans who remain intelligent enough to recognize irony - and I'm starting to wonder if many remain - are taking note.

The rest of this nation is busy rah-rahing the carnage.

Oh hey, is everyone enjoying the way those grocery prices came down so
quickly? I for one am super impressed. Fuck you Joe Biden, the Trump
regime fixed those high grocery prices immediately!!!!!!111111eleven

I'm rah-rah:ing because I see the end of woke, which I saw as a way bigger threat to freedom and democracy, than Trumps sledgehammer.

Sure, he'll mess up a thing or two, but if he manages to uproot the evil
of woke and make sure it never again grows, it will be well worth the
    effort and some collateral damage.

Cost-of-living pressures are creating new shopping habits
    ...
Professor Mortimer said consumers were also willing to shop around
rather than just buy all their groceries from the one outlet.
    ..
Mr McClellan has also made other lifestyle changes.

"I bought a motorbike to save on fuel ... we try to eat as cheaply as
possible; no extra food or snacks or anything," he said.
    ...
There is evidence consumers are also cutting back on discretionary
    spending.
    ...
"When families are now more focused on putting food on the table,
putting fuel in the car, paying rent and servicing mortgages, there is
less disposable income to spend on other things,"

    Professor Mortimer said.

These laws are nothing more than a smokescreen to curtail free
speech, dressed up as child protection. Not sending your child
to church on Sunday could be deemed "child protection" by some!
Try reading the whole act, it's nothing more than a catch-all
for anything that officialdom doesn't like.

These type of "online safety" laws have such broad definitions
of offences that people could interpret almost anything as
harmful, if they are easily triggered as so many today are.
Generally, if the government of the day doesn't agree with your
POV in something you post online then that is likely going to
get you in to trouble. That's why there are people in jail in
the UK for Facebook posts while some real criminals get
    probation or suspended sentences.

Free speech does not exist to allow you to use private platforms to say anything you like. Likewise, it does not exist to allowed you to say
anything you like on behalf of your company, or during your work time.

In the United States, free speech is governed by the First Amendment to
the Constitution, which states that "Congress shall make no law...
abridging the freedom of speech." This amendment protects the right of individuals to express their thoughts, opinions, and ideas without fear of government censorship or retribution.

This is what we are talking about here. The governments harassment of us libertarians, free thinkers and generally rational and decent people.

"Free Speech" statutes offer you protection from government, not private industry or institution. If these workers publicly said or wrote that goes against policy or creates a negative image, their employer had every right to terminate their employment. May not be fair or right, but that's the way it is.

Mee!! I'm a source! Plenty of europeans have been imprisoned for
criticizing immigration. I do not have the energy to dig up court cases.
This does not consist in me admitting defeat. I always win!

This is the truth! The left is only capable of thinking about this from a perspective of being on top.

The right, and rational people, are able to think about this issues
imagining being down below, as well as on top.

This is the hallmark of democracy. Democracy is now being abolished. This
