I don't believe liberals have an interest in them, and I thought the
    MAGA sect drive ICE vehicles.

I can officially announce - exclusively here on
misc.news.internet.discuss - that I have no intention of buying
a Tesla, now or at any stage in the future.

And hopefully I will be dead before I ever have to contemplate
buying any electric car. They are the devil's own invention!

On a more serious note, just what does Elon Musk have on Donald
Trump that has got Musk in to the Trump administration and puts
him by Donald Trump's side more often than JD Vance is?

Trump and Musk seem to be very close... and I doubt it's because
    Donald Trump wanted a Tesla!

They are both businessmen. Musk is a good salesman. That's it really.

Apparently, his father gave some advice....but the rocket person
didn't listen very well. People who associate with the T-Borg can end
up as causalities...let that sink in, Mr Rocket Person.

If Musk was that good a salesman he'd be able to sell me a Tesla!

I did like the look of the one Donald Trump sat in the other
day... but I've not bought in to the electric car idea and I'm
old enough to not have to.

There has been an EV niche market for those who want to lessen their
carbon footprint. He just happened to offer a product for this group
before other OEMs produced their EVs.

Tesla does not have a large dealership network across the US, and most
likely, Tesla vehicles sold are sold mainly to those who live within a
short distance from these dealership locations.

Considering mostly liberals bought them, and now have soured on Elon
in various countries, and considering China's EV OEMs are ramping up
sales, I believe Tesla will be history, like the Tucker 48 did.
    =============

The Tucker 48, commonly but incorrectly referred to as the Tucker
Torpedo, was an automobile conceived by Preston Tucker while in
Ypsilanti, Michigan, and briefly produced in Chicago, Illinois, in
1948. Only 51 cars were made including their prototype before the
company was forced to declare bankruptcy and cease all operations on
March 3, 1949, due to negative publicity initiated by the news media,
a Securities and Exchange Commission investigation, and a heavily
publicized stock fraud trial (in which the allegations were proven
baseless and led to a full acquittal). Tucker suspected that the Big
Three automakers and Michigan Senator Homer S. Ferguson had a role in
    the Tucker Corporation's demise.[2]

His feeble thinking is not in sync with reality...selling vehicles to
liberals, and then ticking them off is just duh.
