Judge orders Trump administration to reinstate most fired probationary
    staff

Ruling by California judge applies to thousands of employees dismissed
    from six federal agencies

A federal judge in California granted a preliminary injunction to
reinstate thousands of fired probationary workers at federal agencies
as part of a lawsuit filed by the American Federation of Government
    Employees.

The ruling by the judge William H Alsup in the US district court for
the northern district of California applies to fired probationary
employees at the Department of Defense, Department of Veterans
Affairs, Department of Agriculture, Department of Energy, Department
of the Interior and the Department of the Treasury.

At least 30,000 probationary employees working for the federal
government have been fired as part of the efforts of Donald Trump and
Elon Musk's so-called "department of government efficiency" to slash
the federal workforce and government expenditures.

Many of the employees were fired with the cited reason being poor
performance, though workers have disputed this based on positive
    performance evaluations.

Alsup said it was a "lie" that the probationary workers who were fired
    had performance issues.

Every one of those probationary staff is going to return to work long
enough to find their next gig, and then get the F out.

I would gladly "return to work" only to do absolutely FUCK_ALL while aggressively job searching and quitting as soon as I found something
    else. Eat a dick, Nazimusk.

In one location, Kansas City, there are not enough local employment
    available.

Yes, it's possible to move to another location and find employment, if
a person can do it, but if married, that depends....

Sure, I get it - that's what it's like to look for work. Maybe you
have to move, maybe you have to change careers. But would you honestly
just go back to work and say to yourself, "OK, problem solved. Back to
doing whatever it is I used to do?"

I personally wouldn't feel safe. So, thanks for the momentary
reprieve/stay of execution. I'll be around as long as takes to find my
    next gig.

In rural areas after high school, its common for these graduates to
    find work in larger cities
