How would the T-Borg take Greenland and Canada without the troops?

Unknown if this was Putin's idea....or the "cost cutter"

T-Borg seems to favor an isolationist view....rather than having
    allies.

It's not totally insane, although it's probably not super smart
either. Apparently the White House has decided that if Russia wants to overtake the rest of Europe Trump&Co will let that happen and not give
    a shit.

The next war will be in the Pacific and it will involve the Navy, Air

Expect to see other parts of the military ramp up in kind.

Europe has more than enough resources to defend itself against russia, so
Trump is right when he says that american support is not necessary.

Europe has 450 million people against russias 150 million. That's
    outnumbering them 3 to 1.

In addition, the economy of europe is about 12-15 times bigger than
    russias.

The only thing europe does _not_ have, is the will to defend itself. That
will, will be quickly found if russia takes over a european country or
    two.

I am not in the least afraid of russia, if the US withdraws. I am rather
more afraid that the EU is on its way to become a soft dictatorship with increasing surveillance and anti-piracy laws, and that the population will
be reduced to tax-slaves with tax rates hitting 70%-80% or more.

Unknown state of affairs...on the one hand, China needs/wants trade
with other countries, but on the other hand, they gain more turf.

As Mick Jagger said, "You can't always get what you want"

They have tried intimidation, but do they want to risk being cut off
from "free trade" is the question. Economically and employment wise,
a heavy burden, if other countries eliminate trade with them.

And then, there is the nuke response....does any country want to tread
    this path?

What the T-Borg doesn't fully understand is if Putin is successful,
this will serve as a guide for them to acquire more turf.

Incorrect statement. Hand to hand combat is the favourite way of russia to wage war. They have not modernized their tactics and strategy since ww2, and that is yet another reason they will lose badly once europe finds the will to fight.
