    It was closed because it cost 3x more to maintain it than a land based

    But think of all the future great movies....

    Some folks on Reddit I think pieced it all together, and realized Trump
    came up with the idea right after some documentary/movie about Alcatraz
    had been presented on some streaming channel. So our Feerless Leeder
    clearly was zoning out with some good boobtube, saw that show, and had
    an idea.

    Meanwhile, Congress: *crickets*.
