Bruce Springsteen Gives Trump the Middle Finger with Another Defiant
    Concert

The Boss seems unfazed by the president's threats

Despite a threat from Donald Trump to shut his mouth -- or else, Bruce Springsteen stood his ground, unleashing another blistering critique
of the president and his administration during a concert in
    Manchester, England, on Saturday night.

The New Jersey rocker echoed many of the same sentiments delivered
during the kick-off of The E Street Band's "Land of Hope and Dreams
Tour" earlier this week. "In my home, the America I love, the America
I've written about, and has been a beacon of hope and liberty for 250
years, is currently in the hands of a corrupt, incompetent, and
treasonous administration," Springsteen proclaimed. "Tonight, we ask
all who believe in democracy and the best of our American experience
to rise with us, raise your voices against the authoritarianism, and
    let freedom ring!"

Bruce Springsteen seems to be the last remaining American with a pair
of balls and the willingness to fight. I can't think of a single other
example of someone prominent willing to say the emperor has no clothes
    in the past months.

Bravo Bruce. And because of his admiration by working class America, it
    means something.

Meanwhile, the Dems are bewildered, floundering, useless, rudderless,
    and totally inept.

The Chicks were silenced over politics. 20 years later, those lessons
    shaped country music's new generation.

Margo Price, Lindsay Ell and Harper Grae spoke to The 19th about the ramifications of being 'too popular, too opinionated, too loud.'

It began with 11 words: "We're ashamed the president of the United
    States is from Texas."

Natalie Maines, lead singer of The Chicks, couldn't have known how
that sentence about George W. Bush and the burgeoning Iraq War would
change everything for her and her bandmates, Emily Strayer and Martie
Maguire. Those words, proclaimed to a London audience on March 10,
2003, would echo through the rest of The Chicks' career

    Bruce

A much older person....and most likely, his generation knows the
    T-Borg is not good.

Right on time, Cheeto-boy is blustering about an investigation. Makes
him look like a chump and a loser, actually. Go Bruce, Go.

Hoping the rest of America grows a pair of stones and starts standing
up to bullshit. Not hopeful though. We're all out shopping.

Stomping on the resistance is the game plan.

Hopefully, Walmart, et.al. businesses pass on the tariff tax to their customers. I don't think vehicle OEMs can eat the increased costs.
Consumers without real disposal income may vote for Ds, and affect his
    current toehold.

    Totally agree.

It would be relatively easy work for a couple of nerds to build a
website that shows you pre- and post-tariff prices and lets you, for
example, calculate the impact on your basket of groceries or your car
or a month's living expenses, etc. Would be a damned SHAME if someone
built one of those right around now!!!

Weakest link in a democracy is the morons who vote.
