The yellow color is only for the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus models.

I'd guess that they figured that since sales of the non-Pro models have
been less than great that they'd try to do something to get some kind of
a sales bump, and adding another color probably is not very expensive.
It's hard to believe that anyone who was holding out for the 15 would be enticed to buy a 14 just because it was now available in yellow.

actually, the iphone 14 is selling quite well, and is among the top ten
best selling smartphones worldwide (see link in another post).

ROFL - all we're doing is rebutting the silliness of this obsession over
the yellow iPhone. It's the Apple haters who brought it up.

You have it backward because they're having fun with Apple investing
probably hundreds of millions of dollars for no added capabilities.

You can be sure that adding another color to the outer shell did not
cost anywhere close to that amount. It's not like they had to build new

I think it's interesting that you think simply because I tested every
method out there, that I recommend the two methods I deplore, nospam.

First off, FTP can't "mount" an Android phone, it can "map" it as a network drive, but it can't mount it as a bona-fide drive letter (although FTPUse claims to be able to do that, I was never able to get it to do that).

Instead, what I recommend is WebDav servers to mount Android as a drive
letter onto Windows over Wi-Fi, which works just fine but then again, adb
works just fine also, so there are _many_ methods that work just fine.

    here's one:

Transform your phone as a network drive (also known as "z drive").
Access your phone/device files with common softwares : MAC OS Finder,
File Explorer, ES Explorer, VLC, Kodi etc.
LAN Drive is a powerfull and easy SMB server - also known as SAMBA
    server - designed for filesharing.
LAN drive is also a powerfull client to connect to SMB servers, and
    view/copy/paste files easily.

Well, that looks like a SMB server! It looks like you were right.

it's no longer shocking how much you lie.

i linked the posts where you said you wanted to run an smb server on a
    phone.

that can't be done on android (at least not without root), whereas it's
easy on ios, with smb server apps available in apple's app store, no jailbreak required, as you've been repeatedly told for *years*.

    Hi nospam,

I gave up on trying to get SMB to work right with Windows when Frank
Slootweg informed me that non-rooted Android can't use ports below 1024
while the Windows SMB server requires the communication ports to be 445.

I say that openly and honestly (words you don't understand) since my goal
is not to defend Android to the death - but simply to state the facts.

Unlike you, I'm not an imbecile who defends Apple to the death, nospam.

You have to trust me that I understand your motives, but have to also
realize how incredibly ignorant you are in trying to achieve them.

I completely get it that you are desperate to defend the lack of Apple functionality to the death, nospam. Trust me on that. I get that.

You will stop at nothing to defend Apple's honor, which might be even to
the point of stabbing your own mother in the back if you felt the need.

You lie. You fabricate. You divert. You deny. You taunt. You insult.

Notice this important observation above that you will do _anything_ to
defend the lack of Apple functionality to the death, to the point that you don't even bother to comprehend what it is that you're talking about.

Given you're the 'smartest' of the low-IQ iKooks, I used to be shocked at
how little you know about iOS or Android, but then I realize you don't need
to know anything because your goal is to defend Apple to the death.

    Specifically...
You don't need to know anything when you incessantly lie about Apple.
You don't need to know anything when you brazenly fabricate functionality.
You don't need to know anything when you constantly deny all facts you hate.

Given, like Putin, your goal is to defend Apple to the death, truth be
damned, the fact you have no idea what the difference is between an SMB
server and an SMB client is no longer shocking to me, nospam.

But let me give you a teeny tiny hint about SMB with respect to Windows.
HINT: Windows is the SMB server.

    Hi badgolferman,

It has been years since I last tried to get SMB to work right with the
Windows SMB server, but the problem is not that the apps don't exist.

For example, that app nospam puked up exists on _both_ platforms.

    iOS:
*LAN drive SAMBA Server Client*, Network drive - Samba server, by Webrox
    <https://apps.apple.com/us/app/lan-drive-samba-server-client/id1317727404> Android:
*LAN drive SAMBA Server Client*, Network drive - Samba server, by Webrox
    <https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=fr.webrox.landrive>

A general-purpose solution is more technical than just "an app" existing.

Works without ROOT : Read the tutorial inside the app (works on
    Windows / MAC / Linux)

tutorial??? on ios, there is no tutorial. it just works.

how does it get around the restricted port that's only an issue on
    android?

    Yes, server. Like this:

You are an idiot... no, a moron... no... it's worse.
    You're an imbecile.

Apparently you are completely ignorant of the fact that there are apps
with built-in SMB servers, allowing you to run SMB servers and allow
access the app's files from any computer or device on the same network
through the SMB protocol. ...and you are calling other people "stupid".
    You're a fucking clown, Arlen. : D

Arlen won't admit he's wrong. And neither will you.
