I am familiar with the PIP function only in the TV world, but not in iPhone usage. Does anyone here use PIP on their iPhone and please give me some use-cases.

Using the Youtube app if you switch to a different task a smaller Youtube window remains still playing music or whatever.

I don’t know … but it does not happen to me even though the PIP is enabled.

Can be useful in presentations with the presenter in a PIP "bubble".
But I wouldn't want to do it on an iPhone, an iPad, laptop or full
    computer would be better.

I use it any time I'm watching a vide but want to do other things
(messaging, web browsing, social media, whatever). Common sense...

If I’m watching a video in the Youtube app and flick up from the iPhone screen bottom to get the task switcher I tap outside the window(s) in the
task switcher and the PIP appears in a corner. Don’t flick the Youtube task window to end it though.

The most obvious use is somethin like during Facetime calls. You see
who you're calling in the main image and can see yourself in the small
    PiP image. <https://help.apple.com/assets/6598817BD84F513BE609FC12/6598817CFF5E0690C7035CD9/en_US/71bfa08f1dcccaa8d8d70df2f8501aef.png>

Still not working on my phone. I looked up Youtube for a solution of this
and found a bunch of clips explaining how to fix this, and one of them mentioned some other setting as well, I think in the Screen Time. But that
does still do nothing for me. Apparently other people have this problem,
    too.
