• Finally iOS 18 will be able to schedule messages

From Andrew@21:1/5 to All on Tue Jun 11 03:42:55 2024
While Android has had scheduled messages for years, Apple finally
added the ability for iOS to schedule messages in iOS 18.

It's one of the many features iOS couldn't do that nospam claimed was
    "not needed" & "not wanted"

Other new messaging features in iOS 18 are...

Emoji tapbacks and new tapback designs
    Text formatting and special effects
    RCS support
    Genmoji
    Image Playground
    Messages via Satellite

Ever since nospam's contract ran out to defend every missing functionality
on iOS as "not needed" and "not wanted", you've taken his place, it seems.

    Therefore...

How do you justify that Apple's messaging system only now can schedule
messages in the future, which Android has had for more than a decade?

Since Apple religious zealots have shown to understand nothing of Apple
    products

Remember you're the person who both massively over-inflated the number of zero days in iOS AND didn't know basic geofencing functionality in iOS.

Who's the one who knows nothing about Apple really?

And yet I'm the one who explained to the iKooks that Apple only fully
supports a single release - which *none* of you zealots ever knew.

For *years* you zealots claimed Apple imaginary support that didn't exist.

What's sad is I don't even care about iOS, and yet I know more about it
than all of you religious zealots combined - simply because I'm not stupid.

For example, none of you Apple religious zealots knew that webkit doesn't support privacy such that only iOS can't run the Tor Browser Bundle.

As another example, I had to inform you ignorant Apple religious zealots
that Apple inserts a tag unique to your AppleID into every IPA you install.

Despite Apple marketing, Apple doesn't allow any privacy on an iPhone.

For another example, none of you religious zealots knows that this vaunted brand new scheduling option doesn't actually work in the real world.

Apple didn't tell you scheduling only works between Apple users alone.
It's no longer shocking you religious zealots know nothing about Apple.

Notice you Apple zealots hate facts

Your understanding of facts is very limited. Most of what you post
    are not facts.

but you never provide any facts.

Apart from the time when your claim of zero days was corrected for
    you.

Given zealots have no education in the sciences or engineering, you
can be forgiven for not being able to discern between facts &
    assessments of fact.

This is an example of a fact.

FACT: Apple fully supports only one release, unlike every other OS
    vendor.
    <https://support.apple.com/guide/deployment/about-software-updates-depc4c80847a/>

Nope. Not a fact. That's an interpretation of Apple's statement. It
could mean that not all updates are appropriate for all supported OS versions. Facts cannot be ambiguous.

The EVIDENCE is that Apple is supporting three versions of iOS. How
    fully that is is unclear.

Yup. I have asked Arlen to provide specific vulnerabilities that are
unpatched in the previous-to-latest release, and they have failed to
provide them. Instead, Arlen resorts to this weak line each time.

ASSESSMENT: Apple has the worst operating system support in the
    industry.

That's you layering your bias on top.

See? You don't really understand what facts are.

Example of real facts: the moon orbits the earth and the earth orbits
the sun, the iphone was launched in 2007, Donald Trump is a convicted
felon, iOS 17 supports all iphones from the 2018 XS onwards.

Arlen isn't interested in factual or productive discussion. Every single
thing he writes has one singular purpose: to troll.
